Topics will include:
Understanding the legal structure of your organisation including the implications of the new Incorporated Societies Act
What are the key roles and responsibilities of governance
Discussing the four functions of governance; i.e. Strategic leadership, Stewardship, Stakeholder relationships, Self-maintenance
Differences between board responsibilities and operations and the relationships between them
