Presented by Free FM and Community waikato
Curious about whether a podcast could work for your organisation, but not sure where, whether or how to start? You’re pod-curious! PodCurious is a series of 2 workshops hosted by Community Waikato and Free FM.
Session 2 – at FreeFM Studio
· Mic skills – getting the best sounds whichever mic you’re using
· Files – managing sound files at home or in the studio
· Sounds – where and how to find other sound for your show
· Crafting a show – how to make sure your show has a beginning, middle and end
ATTN: Attending session one is a prerequisite to attending this session.
This second session is a hands-on go at the how. The first session looked the why of podcasting for community organisations, and covered why you’d make a podcast, how to align it to your strategy, fund it, understand the essentials of a podcast and how to make the most if it once you’ve created it.
Workshop outcomes:
A clearer idea of whether and how a podcast could support your strategy
What you need to get started on making a podcast
How to build a podcast in your funding bid
Planning and recording a show
How to use the kit to make your show
