Presented by Dr Maureen Marra and InLeadership
Staying the same is not an option for any organisation but especially in our current complex, unpredictable, and uncertain workplace environments. In fact, workplace change has been an endemic feature of organisational life since the industrial revolution. The problem is that throughout this time 70% of planned workplace changes have failed because leaders have not known when or how to implement successful change. In this workshop participants will gain an understanding of two important aspects of change: 1) that nothing stays the same and so change is constantly occurring until a new order begins; and 2) knowing how to manage the cultural implications of change to initiate a far more inclusive and thereby effective and successful change strategy. Participants are asked to bring an example of a possible workplace change they are considering implementing so that this can be worked on during the course.
