CE Update March 2025
Kia ora koutou, and welcome to 2025!
This year is shaping up to be one of change and opportunity for Community Waikato and the wider sector. A significant shift for us is that we will be moving out of our current space. Our vision remains to create a community hub that is accessible, sustainable, and truly beneficial for the non-profit sector. However, affordability is key, and we want to take the time to ensure we find the right space that meets both our needs and those of the organisations we support. In the meantime, we will continue our work without interruption and keep you updated on our next steps.
Beyond our own changes, the sector as a whole is navigating a dynamic landscape, with shifts in funding models and legislative requirements. We know these changes bring both challenges and opportunities, and we remain committed to supporting you through them. Whether it’s through our advisory services, training opportunities, or advocacy work, we are here to help strengthen your organisations and communities.
We’re also excited to announce that Community Waikato will be hosting a conference in late 2025! This will be a fantastic opportunity to come together, share knowledge, and re-energise. We encourage you to factor this into your budgets and funding applications, so you don’t miss out.
