Change your Brain, Change your LifeNeuroplasticity is one of the fastest-growing research areas and by far one of the most exciting. The last 150 years of practice has supported the belief that the chemistry of your brain dictates who you are. The reality is this is a much more dynamic process, and who you are in many ways dictates the chemistry of your brain. Nathan will share the principles of Neuroplasticity and how to apply this in everyday situations.

Row Your Own Waka
You can shift your focus and direction. You can control your speed. You can make a change and move forward. Don’t compare your start to someone else’s middle. It’s a long game. You set the pace. You’ll catch many unexpected crabs along the way that will wobble your waka. But, if you set the balance and keep your strokes strong and consistent, momentum will keep you moving in the direction you choose. Show up for yourself. Join us to learn some structures and fulfil your potential within them. We keep it simple and effective to ensure your wellness thrives, everyday and your waka is resilient through life’s ebbs and flows. You can, you should and if you start, you will.Slay Way - Rainbow Hub Waikato
Embracing Diversity & Celebrating InclusionAs we’ve witnessed the covid world change around us, we’ve adapted, shifted and evolved to ensure we can stay safe, support those around us and move forward together. Unfortunately, the same can’t be said for acceptance, support and unity with the rainbow community. We are still surviving instead of thriving due to archaic belief systems and binary rules that hold us down. It’s time to face your fears, bias and uncomfortability, embrace the challenge and become the change. This workshop is going to give you the tools to be supportive, inclusive and understanding of the unique and diverse needs of the rainbow community. Are you ready to be inspired to create impactful, informed & inclusive change in your workplace & communities? Then join us to embrace diversity and celebrate inclusivity!

Playful ProductivityPlaying games can empower us to get more out of our limited resources of time and energy. By strategically using games to improve attention and increase innovation, play can transform how we participate in working. Play changes your state, gives you the resilience needed to solve hard problems, and empowers you to do better work in good cheer. By alternating between deep and shallow work, you can prevent cognitive fatigue by increasing variety & novelty. Practicing how to succeed (and fail) with your team in low-stakes play will form deeper relationships that enable you to handle high-stakes difficulties together.

Engaging with Graphics - Introducing the Power of VisualsVisuals are an important part of our everyday world. Research has shown that visuals increase engagement and can enhance understanding and recall of information. Visual thinking isn’t just limited to artists, but can be used by anyone to capture and organise information, present ideas and tell engaging stories. In this workshop you’ll get an introduction to visual thinking as we explore the science of visuals, and the basics of using graphics as a communication tool to increase your confidence and ability to use graphics in your day to day work. In today’s high tech, high information world, this workshop is about reducing the information overload and providing a low-tech solution to engaging, communicating, and reducing anxiety in the workplace.
